Balance & Flexibility

Balance becomes increasingly important as we age to help prevent falls and injury.  Flexibility can drastically decrease as we age as well but, even for those who are young, we can obtain poor flexibility just through living our every day lives at home and work.  Through good exercise and stretching routines, we can gain back confidence in our balance and increase flexibility to help us feel more youthful and free in our movements.  If you live in Chambersburg PA, Hagerstown MD, or Frederick MD, or their surrounding areas, you have the opportunity to schedule in-home coaching sessions to receive individualized attention to your needs in either or both of these areas.  If you live outside these areas or are on a tight budget, online training is available for you at just $89 per month.

 

Endurance & Energy

Strength & Posture

Building strength and muscle tone are equally important at all stages of life.  While this is popular among younger people, this is very important to keep up as we age to help improve bone density and repair muscle that is lost naturally with age.  While building strength and proper stretching, posture can be significantly improved, helping you feel better and more confident.  If you live in Chambersburg PA, Hagerstown MD, or Frederick MD, or their surrounding areas, you have the opportunity to schedule in-home coaching sessions to receive individualized attention to your needs in either or both of these areas.  If you live outside these areas or are on a tight budget, online training is available for you at just $89 per month.

 

Weight Loss

There is no one single trick to losing weight and it's shown through the thousands of diets, supplements, and exercise programs that all claim to be the thing that's going to help you take off weight and keep it off.  While some of those things work, they may not be suitable or work for everyone.  Also, what is thought to be a healthy diet, by dieticians and doctors, has always changed over the years and undoubtedly will change again in the years to come. For this reason, I don't try to sell anyone on the idea that I have their perfect solution to help them lose weight.  However, I live by a simple philosophy when it comes to my overall health and diet that I feel can be applied to anyone which will in return, help you lose unwanted weight.

1. Exercise

There are types of exercise that are proven to help you lose weight more than others but I believe exercising, in general, can contribute to weight loss and help you live an overall healthier life (obviously- I'm a fitness coach.)  Simply, only good things can come from staying active.

2. Eat Simply, Cook For Yourself.

Avoid TV dinners and restaurants when you don't know fully how your meal is being prepared.  So much can be in those meals that we don't realize.  Stick to shopping on the outer edges of the grocery store, buying fruits, vegetables, meats, and try to cook for yourself.  It'll save money too!  When buying foods in boxes or bags that are in the inner sections of the grocery store, look at the ingredients.  If you can't read the ingredients without trying to figure out what some things are, then it's probably not ideal for your health.  Stick to buying things that have only a few simple ingredients and not a long list of items you have to look up on google.
